Welcome to the newly built IXS Bridge. With the IXS Bridge, we allow the transfer of any RWA token to different networks in the vast RWA ecosystem.

To get started, you’re going to need these 3 things:

• Have a Web3 Wallet set up
• Completed KYC on the platform
  _{Not required for IXS tokens}
• Gas tokens on the chain you are bridging from, and to
  _{Ethereum = ETH token
  Base network = ETH token
  Polygon network = POL token}

If you do not have a Web3 wallet set up yet and are looking to complete your KYC process on the IXS App, feel free to have a look at our guides and tutorials for that here.

Once you have fulfilled all requirements, you can now proceed to use the IXS Bridge.

To begin, head over to the IXS Bridge dashboard and connect your wallet. Once the prompt appears, make sure to sign the transaction with your wallet. And you should be good to go!

Bridge Setup

1. With your wallet connected, select the ‘Source Network’ you’re transferring your tokens from.
2. After doing so, select the ‘Target Network’ you’re transferring your tokens to.
3. Next, select the token and the amount you wish to transfer.
4. Once done, select the ‘Target Wallet’ you want to bridge the tokens to. 

If you want to use the same wallet you used to connect with, you can leave the option as ‘My Wallet’. 

If you want to transfer to another wallet, paste the wallet address you wish to transfer to in the ‘New Wallet’ field.

5. After completing all fields, click the ‘Next’ button

Transfer Tokens

1. Clicking the ‘Next’ button will bring you to the ‘Transfer Tokens’ stage. 
2. In this stage, you can choose whether to approve the amount of tokens you inputted in the Bridge Setup, or you can select the ‘Approve Unlimited Tokens' option, which is not recommended unless you know what you are doing.
3. Once you click ‘Approve’, a prompt from your connected wallet should appear. Once the confirmation pops up, click ‘Next’ then ‘Approve’ to sign with your connected wallet.
4. After signing with your wallet, the click on the ‘Transfer’ button. A confirmation pop up will appear. Click ‘Confirm’.
5. After clicking ‘Confirm’, another prompt from your connected wallet will appear. Click ‘Confirm’ in your wallet. 
6. Next, you should see the the progress of the transfer of your tokens. On this page, you will see your ‘Transaction Hash’ and a QR code below. If you wish to continue the transaction on another browser or another device, please remember to save the ‘Transaction Hash’ and QR code.

Info: Resuming the transaction elsewhere

1. To resume your transaction, connect your wallet to the IXS Bridge dashboard, and you should see a ‘Resume Transfer’ button on the top right corner of the dashboard
2. Paste the transaction hash you copied from your original transaction and select the ‘Source Network’ you are trying to transfer from.

Info: Resuming the transaction after closing your browser

1. If you happen to close the browser during the transfer of your tokens, don’t worry! If you head back into the IXS Bridge dashboard, a prompt will appear asking you to continue your unfinished transaction.
2. If you started a second bridge transaction while the first one was still ongoing, you can manually get back to the first transaction by copying the transaction hash from your "History" tab, or from a blockchain explorer. You can then select "resume transaction" and enter the transaction hash of the original bridge transaction.

Redeem Tokens

1. Once the transfer has completed, the dashboard will bring you to the ‘Redeem Tokens’ stage.
2. Click on ‘Redeem’ and a prompt will appear on your connected wallet asking you to sign or confirm this transaction.
3. Once signed, the dashboard will inform you that your transfer has been a success. There will be a button there to ‘Add Token’ to your connected wallet if you haven’t yet. If you wish to transfer more tokens, click on ‘Transfer more tokens’.
4. If you have any unfinished transactions, a prompt will appear on the dashboard.

And that’s it! You’ve completed your first bridge on the IXS Bridge.
