The IXS Base Bug Bounty allows our IXS users to participate first-hand in the alpha launch of our upcoming IXS Base features. More importantly, the bug bounty enables users to earn rewards for each bug they find during the campaign period.

To get started on the IXS Base Bug Bounty, make sure you read through the guide below:

Eligibility

Anyone can join the Bug Bounty.

Metrics: 

First Come, First Serve (FCFS) basis. Only users who find the bug first will be rewarded.

1. Accessing Your Mock Tokens 

You may now proceed to our Bug Bounty form. Please fill out the respective fields, and await your mock tokens to be airdropped to your wallet.

Only users who have submitted the IXS Bug Bounty form will receive the mock tokens. 

• Mock tokens will be airdropped at 1:30 AM UTC,  5:30 AM UTC, and 9:30 AM UTC.
• Make sure to check your wallet periodically for your mock tokens

Connecting Your Wallet

• To start, connect the wallet you used to submit in the IXS Base Bug Bounty Form
• Click on ‘Sign’ to confirm your wallet connect

Creating Your Dummy KYC Profile

• Once your wallet has been connected, a KYC prompt will appear
• Feel free to use dummy account details to complete your KYC
• Complete the KYC process and begin earning bug bounties!

3. Reporting Bugs

All reports must be made on IX Swap’s TaskOn. Each task will provide a description that users must follow to ensure they submit their proof of work (POW) accordingly. Failure to comply with instructions may result in ‘FAILED’ submissions.

4. Bug Classification

• Major Bugs - The main feature is non-functional‍
• Minor Bugs - Grammatical and text errors‍
• Features - User-suggested add-ons for seamless UX‍
• Technical Bugs - Failed swaps, unable to bridge, continuous transaction processing‍
• Securities Bugs:

• Class A
  • Reversal of crypto deposit, 
  • Re-processing of completed fiat or crypto withdrawal,
  • Successfully bypassing authentication to withdraw user fiat or crypto balance
• Class B
  • Be able to access other user’s trading history
  • Successfully compromise a user account without access to their email, Google account, or Telegram account
• Class C
  • Crash or delay on the IX Swap website without performing a DDOS attack

5. Rewards

• Feature - $25 worth of $IXS ea
• Major Bugs - $25 worth of $IXS ea
• Minor Bugs - $2 worth of $IXS
• Technical Bugs - $15 worth of $IXS ea
• Securities Bugs some text
  • Class A - $100 worth of $IXS ea
  • Class B - $30 worth of $IXS ea
  • Class C - $20 worth of $IXS ea
• Plus, first 15 qualifiers will receive an extra 500 points on TaskOn!

NOTE: Rewards will be given out at the end of the month of the campaign period. $IXS payouts will be based on the opening price at the start of the next month.
