Monthly Update: December 2021

It has been an exciting year for IX Swap, and the last month of 2021 gave us the wrap-up that we needed to welcome bigger, better, and more amazing developments in 2022. ‘Twas the season to be jolly and with December as IX Swap’s first Christmas, we wanted to go big in giving back to our communities for the support that helped propel IX Swap to be where it is now. Without further ado, here’s our mission log of what we were up to last month.

IX Swap Joined Forces With Ledgity

We started the month with another powerhouse collaboration - this time with Ledgity, the next-generation financial services platform that democratizes the wealth management industry by making non-traditional assets and alternative investments available to everyone.

The collaboration seeks to tackle several regulatory and technical challenges together and as a result, create an environment that will allow for the seamless integration of cross-border listings.

This is a crucial steppingstone to enable IXSwap and Ledgity to both expand access to security tokens in different areas and add to the growing list of digital security products.

As Aaron Ong, the co-founder of IX Swap explained, both companies aim to bridge the gap between banking and digital asset management.

IX Swap Github Repository Goes Public

We understand how important it is to stay up to date with what we are up to behind the scenes, so we have made a public Github repository that everyone can check out.

While we can’t share everything on GitHub, this is the perfect opportunity for our community members to share with us their thoughts about our upcoming projects and get a clearer and in-depth view of what they are about.

IXS Token Gets Listed on MEXC Global

Another month, another exchange to conveniently top up your IXS crypto wallet safely and easily!

IXS/USDT started trading on MEXC Global on December 17, 2021, at 10:00 AM UTC, while deposit and withdrawal were made available earlier to ensure that existing IXS holders would get the dibs and stay ahead of the pack once trading opened.

IXS Liquidity Mining on Polygon Extended

What’s the spirit of Christmas if not for amazing surprises throughout the holiday season?

This time, we extended the period of our IXS liquidity mining pool on Polygon, so if you’re not on it yet, this is your chance!

Initially slated to end by November 18, 2021, our IXS liquidity mining on Polygon will now be available until January 31, 2022.

IX Swap Drops First NFT Collection for Charity Beneficiary

IX Swap took another significant stride to mark the upcoming launch of its fractional non-fungible token offering (F-NFT) with an NFT collection available on OpenSea.

IX Swap’s special NFT collection showcases its iconic spaceman equipped with different attributes, such as helmet styles, suit colour, background, and accessories.

The limited collection consisted of 888 NFTs created by IX Swap’s in-house team and showcased the company’s iconic spaceman equipped with different attributes, such as helmet styles, suit colour, background, and accessories.

Part of the proceeds of the sale will go to Child’s Dream Foundation, an organization focused on improving children’s health and education in the Mekong sub-region of Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand.

Testnet for STO Swaps Went Live

Are you the type who likes to tinker and experiment with things to see how they work? If that’s the case, our testnet aka “playground” for STO swaps is for you.

To join, you have to access app.ixswap.io through a wallet that can enable the Kovan network and after you’re all set up, you can play around with the IX Swap app using the dummy tokens we created.

Advent Calendar Giveaway

We’ve saved the most special for last which also happens to be the most festive of all our projects last month — the IX Swap Advent Calendar Giveaway!

For the first 24 days of December, we hosted daily Twitter competitions that vary on a day-to-day basis that everyone could enjoy.

From meme competitions to quizzes to guessing games, everyone had a chance to win amazing prizes in the form of WIXS, IXS tokens, and IX Swap NFTs.
