Halving

Almost all of cryptocurrencies have a limited quantity, rendering them an extremely scarce digital asset. As an instance, the maximum quantity of bitcoin that will ever be created is 21 million. The quantity of bitcoins generated per block is reduced by 50% every four years. This process is referred to as "halving." The final halving event will take place in the year 2140.
